Turkish Ceramic Society organizes SERES'10. International Ceramic, Glass,
Porcelain Enamel, Glaze and Pigment Congress' which aims to bring academicians,

cement and people of regarded industries together, supplying them suitable arena
for sharing knowledge and experiences and for determining possible future

International Ceramics Festival
Since it began in 1987 the International
Ceramics Festival has grown to become the UK's leading ceramics event. It offers
teachers, students, ceramic artists, collectors, working potters and amateurs
alike the chance to meet and study the work of distinguished, internationally
known demonstrators from Wales, the UK and many countries worldwide.The trade

the basis of traditional ceramics.
This includes the pottery at the wheel, modeling, wood fire

Due to the geographical situation of the Republic of Moldova was
and is a gathering of different cultures and nations is always
present; we try to integrate this interesting mix in the field
of ceramics.

Terrània - Festival de Ceràmica
Terrània became the first pottery event in Catalonia and the
first edition was very successful thanks to the quality of the

2nd Shanghai International Pot Art Biennial
Exhibition

Terralha 2010
The Cultural Office of Saint Quentin la Poterie is organizing
the edition of the European Festival of Ceramic Arts, with the goal of
encouraging the
new European Ceramics and in particular promoting “young
ceramic artists”, this talented wave of innovative artists that are creating new
paths in ceramic arts.
Because the discovery of new talents cultivates the ceramics
of tomorrow and because there isn’t any true artistic depth without exchanges
between artists, the Cultural Office has
decided to really get to know this new generation of artists
present throughout the festival.

Tiles of Italy Design Competition
The Italian
Trade Commission and Confindustria Ceramica, the Association of Italian Ceramics,
are proud to announce the 2010 Ceramic Tiles of Italy Design Competition Call
for Entries.The competition, now in its 17th year, recognizes the exceptional
work of North American architects and designers who feature Italian ceramic
tiles in their institutional, residential or commercial/hospitality spaces.The
competition is open to all North American architects and interior designers.
Projects
eligible : Commercial, Residential or Institutional new construction or
renovation projects completed within the past 5 years. Projects can be domestic
or international.
Submissions
must be completed no later than February 19, 2010.

Galera Ceramics and Pottery Prix Vila de la Galera - biannual, open
to all the artists and artisans
This award was created in 2008, is a biennial basis and, for the year 2010
will take two forms: Ceramics and Pottery.
The objectives of the contest are to promote creativity, spreading the
artistic work, and relate the art and craft building.
It will be open to all trends and ceramist materials that are capable of
developing its last creative phase in an oven.

The Gold
Coast International Ceramic Art Award is an acquisitive art award and
exhibition, open to all ceramic art forms.
The competition is open to artists from
all countries.
Works chosen for the exhibition at Gold
Coast City Art Gallery will be selected by the Judge from photographs or jpegs
submitted with the entry. Selected artists will be invited to submit works of
art for exhibition and consideration by the Judge for acquisition. The Judge may
select more works than c an be exhibited in which case all works submitted will
be viewed by the Judge and remain eligible for acquisition.

Orsoni Prize 2010, International Award for Mosaic Fine Art

Maestro Orsoni and Dottore Bisazza will award the Grand Prize to the
individual who best exemplifies the use of Orsoni product in a mosaic
representing excellent technique and unique artistic vision. Four additional
artists will also be recognized for their work with one Honorable Mention and
three Finalists.
Artists may submit 2-dimensional and 3-dimensional works.
You will create one application and select 2D or 3D art type for each image.
Deadline : June 11th - mosaic artists may apply in
two categories, 2D and 3D through Juried Art Services for Orsoni Smalti
Veneziani’s biennial Orsoni Prize. Orsoni Smalti Veneziani has been producing
Venetian smalti and 24k gold mosaic since 1888. Honorary President Maestro Lucio
Orsoni and Pino Bisazza, founder and President of Trend Group, will judge the
competition.

6th Biennal of Ceramic “El Vendrell” - Spain
The Biennal de Ceràmica of El Vendrell is organized to promote the creation and
the spreading of ceramics around the world.
This Biennal is opened to all creators that use technics of ceramics. They can
take part of it individually or collectively.
The works must be original or unpublished. Works shown in other contests will
not be accepted.
The participant can present three works at the

Exposition of Pottery and Ceramic of La Rambla 2010
All the people interested can participate
in the contest regardless their nationality, as long as they have a document
which does credit to their identity.
The pieces will be presented by the author in the place and date that the
Organizing Commission indicates for every year. The contestant has to take
charge of the delivery and removal of the pieces, if it is necessary (unless an
opposite determination of the Organizing Commission). The delivery date will be
notified to the contestants with minimum 7 days before the term .

The International Festival 2012 exhibition
is the traditional international manifestation of ceramics being held under the
patronage of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Croatia and the Varazdin
City Council.
The organizer is KERAMEIKON, Croatian Ceramic Association in partnership with
The City Museum of Varazdin.
Only the works which embody the concept of ceramics as a means of free artistic
expression will be accepted: sculptures, installation, and works serving a
non-functional and functional purpose. Artists are expected to contribute by
presenting distinctively personalised, original and novel ceramic art works
characterised by a sincere approach, an ebullient, vivaciously creative and
imaginative form of expression. A combination of various materials may be used
but the work must be done primarily in ceramics.

Elit-tile is not a competition, but a
celebration of tile as a ceramic, artistic element with an actual use as well as
the embodiment of a concept.
Igneri Foundation is proud to announce its Fourth International Ceramic Tile
Triennial or elit-tile 2013.
Elit-tile has been launched to promote the making and use of tile as conceptual
medium,architectural ornamenttion or personal/cultural artifact.Taken from the
word elite, it means the utmost, that which excels. elit-tile 2012/2013 is an
event for and to the excellence of ceramic tile. We work hard to make it the
most important ceramic tile event worldwide, in a Caribbean setting.elit-tile
2012/2013 is open to all artists/ceramists that masters fire techniques and also
willing to send the work as a donation to the Museum of Contemporary Ceramics
(MCC).
The works will not only increase the Museum collection but also support the
ceramics activities in our country guided by Igneri Foundation/Art and
Archaeology.
Only invited international artists will be accepted, though.
